12 Reasons To Visit the Showboat Branson Belle This Fall

Cruise. Dine. Be Entertained.

Those words are synonymous with the Showboat Branson Belle, a must-visit Branson attraction for more than 20 years. Since it debuted in 1995, the Showboat Branson Belle has given thousands of guests the chance to leave their cares at the dock for an unforgettable adventure on beautiful Table Rock Lake.

Delicious food, show-stopping entertainment and time on the water are a staple of every voyage on the Showboat Branson Belle, but the two-and-a-half hour experience is more than just a cruise, show and meal. From pre-cruise festivities to post-show meet-and-greets with the cast members, the fun starts the moment you arrive at White River Landing and continues throughout your time aboard the vessel.

Here are 12 reasons you should make the Showboat Branson Belle part of your fall plans.

1. You Might Be A Part Of The Act

The Showboat Branson Belle’s emcees love to get audience members involved in the show! At select points during the cruise, our comedic magicians will search the audience for volunteers to come up on stage and assist them with their acts. You or your loved ones may be chosen to pick a card, play a game or help out with an illusion. Whether you’re called up on stage or still in your seat, get ready to laugh!

2. You’re Entertained While You Eat

While the full variety show takes place in the second half of your voyage, long after the dishes have been cleared, there’s a full lineup of pre-show entertainment that accompanies your three-course meal. In addition to the emcee’s opening act, a live band performs a set of crowd favorites, and some of the variety show’s vocalists take the stage to sing their signature songs. After meal service concludes, you’ll have time to explore the vessel as we get the stage ready for the main event featuring the entire cast.

3. You Can Rock Out On The Top Deck

While you’re exploring the vessel, make sure you head to the top deck. Weather permitting, musicians from the cast perform a mini outdoor concert during the intermission as the Showboat cruises along Table Rock Lake. Feel the breeze in your hair and rhythm in your feet as you tap your toes to the music.

4. The Whole Show Isn’t On The Stage

No matter where you’re sitting, you’re going to have a great view of the stage. But you might be even closer to the show than you imagined. There are multiple times throughout the show where the performers dance off the stage and make their way through the aisles on the first floor of the theater.

5. You’ll Hear All Genres of Music

From our rockin’ opening number to our show-stopping finale, the cast performs hits made famous by some of the biggest names in the music industry — and it’s not just limited to one particular genre. From disco, soul and gospel to rockabilly, classic rock, and contemporary pop hits, the show features something for all kinds of music fans.  Listen to our Spotify playlist for a sampling of the show songs.

6. We Love Our Movies

Just past the midway point of the show, we set the stage for an incredible salute to some of America’s Favorite Movies. In less than 10 minutes, the cast performs a medley of more than 25 classic movie soundtrack hits, with dozens of costume changes. You’ll hear iconic songs from movies like "The Sound of Music," "West Side Story," "Ghostbusters," "Titanic" and "The Wizard of Oz", with choreography and costumes to match each film. It’s as if the cast jumped right off the silver screen and onto the Showboat stage.

7. We Salute Our Veterans

The variety show concludes with a patriotic tribute to our great nation, as well as the brave men and women who defend it. Right before the finale, the cast pauses to recognize and applaud military personnel and our nation’s veterans, before beginning a moving tribute that ends with “God Bless America.” We invite those who have served to stand and be recognized prior to the finale so that we may properly thank them for protecting our freedom.

8.You Can Meet The Cast After The Show

After most cruises, the variety show cast is available for a meet-and-greet opportunity at the Showboat logo in the newly renovated atrium. As you’re heading back to your vehicle, be sure to swing by and say hello. The stars are always happy to meet, sign autographs and take photos with their newest fans.

9. You Can Go Shopping On White River Landing

Whether you’re looking for a new outfit or a fun souvenir, there’s a good chance you’ll find it at the Showboat Branson Belle. The ship’s dock, White River Landing, is home to Layton Mercantile and McAdoo’s Boatworks, and there’s also an on-board boutique in the renovated atrium. Give yourself some time to browse the collection of fine apparel, accessories, jewelry and mementos.

10. You Can Enjoy A Premium Experience
