A Seasonal Snack Wonderland

Head to Silver Dollar City and get ready to eat your way through the park on an unforgettable Christmas food adventure!  Silver Dollar City produces delectable treats all year long, but something about the holiday season just intensifies the drool-worthiness of the flavors. Maybe it’s the cooler weather, maybe it’s the holiday cheer or perhaps we just give ourselves a little more permission to indulge and enjoy. Whatever it is, it’s making us hungry!

Sweet & Savory Snacks on a Stick

There’s a lot to see and do during An Old Time Christmas, so portability is a big plus when it comes to snacks. The handiness of these treats is matched only by their scrumptiousness:

Tater TwistCrispy fried potatoes spiraled on a stick with a variety of spice blends to add unbelievable flavor. For a heartier option, try a Tater Dog, featuring a juicy hot dog wrapped in delicious fried spuds.

Wilson’s FarmFried Oreos or fried red velvet Oreos are a decadent treat that travels. A savory option is also available in the form of tender veggies breaded and fried to perfection, also on a stick, of course!

Tom’s Homemade Pretzels – Hot dogs prove once again to be an unbeatable snack on-the-go. This time they’re wrapped in homemade pretzel dough and baked until golden brown. Yum.

Walking Tacos

No longer do you need to be stuck at a table to enjoy zesty southwest flavor! Walking tacos are a mobile version of a food just about everyone loves. Doritos, seasoned beef and classic toppings are neatly contained for you to enjoy on the move.

Caramel Apples, Dumplings and Turnovers

Apples are a seasonal favorite and Silver Dollar City has some incredible confections featuring this delicious fruit:

Near the Frisco Barn, they serve up sliced apples drizzled with creamy caramel.

Caramel Apple & Apple Dumpling With Ice Cream

Warm apple dumplings topped with cinnamon ice cream are a very popular holiday treat available at several locations.

At the Apple Butter Shop located just off the Square, you can get a hot apple turnover with Silver Dollar City’s own delicious apple butter. You can also find this sweet delight at Eva & Delilah’s Bakery.

If you thought s’mores couldn’t get any better then you haven’t had these! Toast your own giant marshmallow over a crackling fire and then place it between two rich chocolate chip cookies with decadent fudge sauce for the ultimate indulgence.

Kettle Chips with Marshmallow Drizzle

Just for An Old Time Christmas, Chester’s Kettle Chips fries sliced sweet potatoes until tender and crisp and then drizzles them with a delightful marshmallow cream creating a truly sensational seasonal snack.

Funnel Cakes

You can’t forget about funnel cakes. They’re great all year long, but a hot funnel cake on a cool evening is a particularly special treat.

Outlaw Run Funnel Cake

You can stay traditional with a powdered sugar topping, or try gourmet varieties like red velvet or Outlaw Run (salted caramel and chocolate). No matter what you choose, you won’t regret it.

Baked Goods

The holidays are a time when baked goods really rise to superstar status. Silver Dollar City is famous for its baked confections.

Gourmet Cinnamon Rolls

Eva & Delilah’s has pastries, brownies, cookies and, of course, gourmet cinnamon rolls. Christmas specialties include their famous ginger molasses cookies and gingerbread men. Plus, take home a handcrafted Silver Dollar City fruitcake in a decorative tin, or even have it shipped to you!

Cinnamon Bubble Bread

Sullivan’s Mill is renowned for its fresh baked cinnamon bread, but they also have a selection of cookies, truffles and more. Have some during your visit, and take some home for later.

Hot Beverages

There are few things more comforting than a hot beverage in your hands. Sip a steaming cup of your favorite drink and enjoy a few moments of sheer holiday bliss.

Hot chocolate is probably the quintessential holiday beverage and Silver Dollar City takes it to the next level by topping it with marshmallows, whipped topping, chocolate chips and candy cane.

Hot Chocolate With The Works

Another traditional Christmas beverage is wassail. This spiced cider is a holiday staple at Silver Dollar City. Grab some take home packets as well to enjoy this classic beverage at home.

Of course, this is just a sampling of the amazing variety of incredible treats served up all over the park during Christmas! We know that there will be some tough decisions ahead: S’mores or apple dumplings…tater dog or pretzel dog? Don’t worry, you can’t go wrong!

Be sure to grab a Pathfinder newspaper as you enter the park for a map and even more helpful planning information for your visit.
