Bring Autumn Indoors With New Decor

Although fall officially began last week, the crisp mornings over the past few days mean that it finally feels like autumn. And this lovely weather might just inspire you to deck out your home with the warm colors and textures of the harvest season. If that’s the case, then a trip to Silver Dollar City is in order to browse the gorgeous home décor and handcrafted seasonal items currently showcased at the park’s numerous shops. Here are some of our favorite must-haves for fall.

Seasonal Sophistication

At the Crafter’s Market located in the Midtown district, you can shop handmade items from more than a dozen of our favorite craftsmen. Among them you’ll find bags, table top accessories and more from Conduit Press Leather. Created from reclaimed leather, these stylish items feature warm, earthy tones and motifs that echo the changing hues and falling leaves of the surrounding Ozarks hills. Not only are their leaf bowls and leather-wrapped jars a great way to add a more subtle seasonal feel to your home, they’ll also look great throughout the year.

A Warm Welcome

Nothing says “welcome home” like the delicious fragrances of fall. Carrie’s Candles, also situated in Silver Dollar City’s Midtown district, boasts an impressive selection of handcrafted candles in a myriad of shapes and sizes, richly scented with the inviting food-inspired aromas and spicy notes of the season including pumpkin chai, homestead vanilla walnut, apple pie, crackling firewood and more. Plus, pick up some new seasonal décor, including light-up pumpkins and jack-o’-lantern votive holders.

Glowing Grins

If you’re looking for fun pumpkin décor without the messy work of carving, then check out these handcrafted jack-o’-lanterns from Hillcreek Pottery. When lit from within, these happy grinning pumpkins will add a cheerful glow to your porch, mantel or tabletop. For a really spectacular effect, place a grouping of these smiling faces on your front steps with some potted mums to welcome guests to your home this fall.

Happy Harvest

Celebrate the abundance of the season by inviting its warm hues and cheerful themes into your house this autumn. Ozark Marketplace has some of the cutest harvest décor you’ll find anywhere including adorable scarecrows, pretty pumpkins and cute collectibles to warm your Thanksgiving festivities for years to come.

Don't forget: National Crafts & Cowboy Festival is going on now through October 28 (Wed-Sun). You'll find even more handcrafted, autumn-inspired treasures at the booths of more than 125 visiting craftsmen.

National Crafts & Cowboy Festival is presented by Humana®.
