A Silver Dollar City Thanksgiving

Looking for an extra special way to celebrate Thanksgiving this year? Move your family’s festivities to Silver Dollar City® and add some adventure to your menu! Silver Dollar City has all of your essential Thanksgiving traditions covered plus plenty of activities you can’t get at home - unless you happen to have a roller coaster or two in your backyard, that is.

Your first question might be, “But is there turkey?” The answer is a resounding, “Yes!” Silver Dollar City officially opens at 4pm on Thanksgiving Day, but the Holiday Harvest Buffet on the Square opens its doors at 2pm so come hungry. This bountiful spread includes everything your heart could desire including: Hickory Smoked Turkey, Holiday Ham, Golden Fried Chicken, your favorite sides, taste-tempting desserts and more.

Then, you might wonder, “Will it feel like home?” Again, the answer is, “Yes!” At Silver Dollar City we consider you family. We’re thankful that you choose to spend your time with us.

To accommodate our Thanksgiving Day guests, three restaurants on the Square - Molly's Mill, Reunion Hall and The Lucky Silver Mine - will be serving the Holiday Harvest menu. No reservations required.

The buffets start at just $7.99 for ages 4-11 and $17.99 for ages 12 and up — an incredible value for an all-you-care-to-eat feast. Plus, Season Pass Holders receive a 10 percent discount. And with us handling all the cooking and the cleanup, you’ll have more time to make memories with your family.

From 4pm to 10pm, you can spend the evening exploring what The Travel Channel called The Most Illuminated Park On Earth. With over 6.5 million dazzling lights, including 1.5 million in the Christmas In Midtown® Light Spectacular, Silver Dollar City is an awe-inspiring place to get into the Christmas spirit.

From Broadway-style shows to pop-up caroling, there are so many ways to celebrate. Gather your family around the 5-story special effects Christmas tree and experience the light & music spectacle of Christmas On Main Street. Then find your spot for Rudolph’s Holly Jolly™ Christmas Light Parade as brilliantly lit floats and costumed characters make their way through the city streets.

Plus, weather permitting, enjoy rides into the night on Silver Dollar City's thrilling rides and attractions - many offering great views of the lights from above. That includes the all-new Time Traveler®, the World's Fastest, Steepest & Tallest Spinning Coaster, which features 30 miles of new lights in the launch area.

Then, on Friday & Saturday, Silver Dollar City opens extra early for another of America’s favorite Thanksgiving weekend traditions – shopping! From 8:00am to Noon you can save 20% on all Silver Dollar City merchandise — and up to 75% on select items — during our Annual After Thanksgiving Sale. See the full list of sale items and learn about our special shopper’s ticket for Friday or Saturday.

After you shop, stay and play for the rest of the evening. Silver Dollar City is open until 10:00pm!

We’ll also be open from 1pm to 9pm on Sunday, so you can keep the Thanksgiving celebration going.

Another great option for a really unique Thanksgiving experience is a cruise aboard the Showboat Branson Belle®. Each 2-hour cruise on Table Rock Lake features a delicious 3-course meal which includes savory pot roast, baked chicken in a honey Dijon sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, hot dinner roll with butter and lemon berry ice cream pie for dessert. Plus, enjoy our all-new Christmas Show, featuring Christmas favorites sprinkled among iconic songs from the 1960s to today.

Christmas Show cruises depart at Noon, 4 and 8pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, along with a 4pm cruise on Sunday. That’s 13 chances to see the show on Thanksgiving Weekend alone! Plus, on Saturday and Sunday, Santa and his helpers take over the boat for three extra-special breakfast cruises!

These limited-time Santa’s Pancakes & Pjs Cruises feature magical activities like face painting and cookie decorating, a hearty breakfast of pancakes, sausage and more, plus an unforgettable show that includes a visit from Santa and special guests from Branson’s Promised Land Zoo! Best of all, little ones are encouraged to experience the fun in their favorite Christmas Jammies.

Santa’s Pancakes & PJs Cruises at 9am on Saturday and Sunday, plus a special noon cruise on November 25. Arrive early, because activity stations open one hour prior to cruises. Your whole family will be talking about this holiday adventure until bedtime!
