The World’s Fastest, Steepest & Tallest Spinning Coaster continues to inspire us here at Silver Dollar City, and we’re excited to take a look at even more amazing items inspired by our new revolutionary coaster!
But first, let’s travel back in time to two months ago, when you got your first look at Traveler’s Stop — the all-new restaurant featuring fried chicken sandwiches and artisan grilled cheese sandwiches.
Then last month, we introduced you to the new Time Traveler Craft Collection — featuring ornaments, glassware, pottery, knives and hats created by our talented colony of 100 demonstrating craftsmen.
Now it’s time to take a look at some of the other on-park food items paying tribute to Time Traveler™!
Let’s start down at the Riverfront, where we’ve introduced a new Time Traveler Pretzel.
This handmade pretzel drizzled with caramel, marshmallow, hot fudge and sea salt is an adventurous flavor combination, and a perfect sweet treat to satisfy a hungry appetite. This delectable snack can be found at Tom Sawyer’s Handmade Pretzels, next to the Carousel Barn and Crossroads Pizza.
Be sure to save some room for dessert, because there’s more Time Traveler™ on the menu! Head up Hill Street to Hannah’s Ice Cream Parlor and you’ll find a special treat — Time Traveler™ Ice Cream!
Created by our friends at Hiland Dairy, this original combination is as unique as the coaster it is named after — French Silk ice cream with marshmallow bon bons, chocolate flakes and a thick fudge sauce.
Don’t forget — quite a few members of the Time Traveler Craft Collection are edible themselves!
Brown’s Candy on Valley Road features milk chocolate and dark chocolate gears, along with a special Time Traveler™ truffle made of chocolate and cinnamon. That chocolate-cinnamon team can also be found at Phoebe Snapp Taffy on Main Street, where our craftsmen have created a special taffy flavor.
Remember — no visit to Silver Dollar City is complete without a stop at Sullivan’s Mill, where our delicious cinnamon bread is made fresh daily! Visit Midtown at the right time and you might even see our craftsmen decorating some Time Traveler™ cinnamon bread, drizzled with caramel and chocolate.
Silver Dollar City is open Wednesdays thru Sundays, April 11-29, for The Festival of Wonder, featuring a special entertainment lineup from around the globe. Be sure to try all of these delicious Time Traveler™ foods during your visit — and maybe even bring some candy, taffy and cinnamon bread home with you to satisfy your cravings until the next time you can come ride this record-setting and thrilling coaster!
INSIDER TIP: Download the all-new Silver Dollar City app before your visit. You can use our interactive park map to get directions to every one of these shops and restaurants — and the new ride itself!
